108
The sacred number
"In yoga, the mala is 108 beads. In astronomy, the sun is 108 diameters from earth. In our atelier, the drop is 108 pieces. Then it ends."
01
Finite by design
Every drop is limited to 108 pieces. When the run ends, it ends. No restocks, no reprints. Scarcity here is not a marketing trick; it is the honest pace of work made by hand.
02
The artisan is named
Each garment carries the name of the folk artist whose motif it wears, along with its edition number. Provenance is printed, not implied.
03
Credit and fair pay
Motifs are licensed with the artist's consent. Payment supports the next artwork, the next apprentice, the next generation of the craft.
04
Slow is verifiable
A Kalamkari cloth passes through twenty-three washes. Every step leaves evidence in the fabric. Speed has no fingerprints; craft does.
Wear the number. Carry the story.
