From the 1960s, this intricate practice transitioned onto paper, adapting its dense compositions and bold colour filling, often referred to as the bharni style, where every inch of space is meticulously adorned with motifs like fish, peacocks, or lotus blossoms, reflecting a deep connection to nature and spirituality.
